He said all hands must be on the deck to work for Nigeria’s progress and fight against its division. The preacher noted that the need for the nation’s restructuring should not lead to its division.

Patror Kumuyi said: “We should not worry ourselves too much on the issue. We should rather think of how we can move the country forward because too much talk about restructuring does not mean Nigeria will break up.

“The solution is that we should begin to dialogue. Stakeholders should reason together and see the way forward, instead of accusing one another. What we are interested in is how to solve the problem. What are the expectations of both sides so that we can move forward?”

He said comments by Nigerians on the economic situation were normal, adding that they were indications that the country deserved better than the realities on the ground.

“The reason people are commenting is because Nigeria deserves to be better. The economy has been low, but we are getting out of it. With prayers, I know we will get better,” Pastor Kumuyi said.

Meanwhile, the federal government has ordered immediate withdrawal of military from the Niger Delta communities. This was arrived at a meeting summoned on the instruction of President Muhammadu Buhari, the federal government and Niger Delta states .
